What is kept
What this site and these tools keep.

This site
No analytics, no cookies, no third-party scripts, fonts or images. Nothing on this page is loaded from a server that is not engilane.com. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
Cloudflare serves the site and, like any host, sees the request: an IP address, the path, a user agent, a timestamp. I have not turned on any product that would let me read those as visitor analytics, so I do not know who visits this page or how many of you there are.
The tools
The domains you paste into Sitewatch are never written down. They are checked, and the result goes back to your browser. Requests are counted per IP address so that one person cannot use a free tool as free computing power, and that count expires on its own.
If you give an email address to be told when the scheduled version exists, I keep the address, how many domains you checked and how many problems were found. Never the domains themselves. Ask me to delete it and I will, the same day.
Your data is not the product
There is no ad network here, no tracker and no data broker, and nothing collected here is sold or shared with anyone. That is a description of how it is built rather than a promise about my intentions: what is never collected cannot leak, be demanded of me, or be passed on to somebody else later.
What you can expect, and what you cannot
These tools read public information and report what they find. They can be wrong. A registry can answer with stale data, a server can refuse a handshake, a DNS record can be cached somewhere between us. Do not let one tool be the only thing standing between you and an outage. Nothing here is provided with a warranty, and if a check misses something the loss is yours, which is the trade for a tool that asks you for nothing before it gives you an answer.
